Fred Gerantabee is an award-winning technology executive, author and speaker who serves as Coty’s Global VP of Digital Innovation across its various product divisions, focusing on the use of emerging technology and new platforms.
Prior to Coty, Fred served as Chief Digital Officer at PR and social agency Lippe Taylor and spent 5 years at Grey Worldwide, where he built the technology and innovation practices and launched integrated campaigns for CoverGirl, Marriott Hotels and Eli Lilly, and award-winning activations for Volvo, Canon USA and States United Against The Prevention of Gun Violence (UnloadYour401k).
Fred spent the first half of his career as a developer, with time spent in the financial, entertainment and retail fields, including a tenure with Walt Disney Internet Group/ABC TV where he created Emmy-award winning second screen applications for the network’s primetime shows and live events. To date his background has focused heavily on digital product development and emerging technology, with a focus on consumer facing marketing and communication.
As an author and speaker, Fred has published over 13 books around Adobe and Microsoft web tools and technologies, and been a featured speaker at Microsoft MIX, MarTech, AdWeek, FOWD and a variety of Microsoft closed and internal events.
