This award will be presented to an outstanding innovation leader who has contributed to a culture of change, demonstrated a unique approach with a strong potential impact and stimulated team members to innovate. Nominees must currently be holding a leadership position and leading a team within the organization. They have either innovated a service/process, developed a product innovation or brought it to market. 

The Awards draw applicants from a wide range of companies within the cosmetics and personal care industry: beauty brands and retailers, packaging, raw material suppliers and other organizations involved in contributing to the value chain of bringing cosmetics to consumers.

Applicants must present accomplishments related to the nominee’s current position.

Steering Committee/Judges

An international panel of experts from complementary industries with a specialization in Leadership, Strategy & Innovation, who have experience working with/in the cosmetics and/or personal care industry, will review the applications and select the top finalists and winners in each category. Judges will be announced shortly.

Judging Process

Fri, December 4

Judges will receive a completed file of applications for two categories each.

Judges will review nominations independently based on a scoring model, which we will be sharing with you promptly.

Mon, January 4

Deadline for judges to send the scores and sooner is better!

Oranizer will consolidate the 2 scores from each judge per category and thereby identify the top three finalists. Tie-breaking judge on stand-by in case if needed. 

Fri, January 8 

The judges will meet online on closed call to discuss ranking and select three finalists. Press release follows.

Fri,  January 22 

Judges will schedule calls with top 3 finalists  individually, and after that, will assign scores from 1 to 3 (with three as second runnerup and 1 is the winner.) 

Fri,  February 8

Organiser will arrange a private conference call for judges to get together and agree on the winners per category.

Fri, February 15
Judges will be asked to write a short, up to half-page writeup, substantiating our choice of winner, which will be compiled to the public virtual event announcing winners. The official press release will be shared on all major online networks.

March 2021 (dates to be confirmed)

Celebrating winners of LEADERS OF CHANGE virtual event, including live (or pre-recorded) messages from winners.
