Manager, Consumer External Innovation, Johnson & Johnson
Elizabeth Wu is currently a Consumer External Innovation Manager at Johnson & Johnson Innovation based in Seoul, South Korea. In this role, she is responsible for identifying and evaluating external innovation opportunities in order to execute on partnerships and equity investments aligned to key global and regional priorities for the Consumer business in the Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson Innovation, Liz held positions of increasing responsibility at L’Oréal, including Associate Principal Scientist at L’Oréal Research & Innovation. In this role, her primary responsibility was to evaluate and establish external collaborations in line with L’Oréal’s R&D strategy. Prior to L’Oréal, Liz completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, a member of A*STAR’s biomedical sciences institutes in Singapore.
Liz earned her B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and her M.S. and PhD in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego.
