As the VP of Marketing and Brand Strategy for Beauty Barrage and Beauty Strategy Group, Kristy Engels helps clients to find audiences, develop their brand voice and succeed online and at retail. Prior to joining the Beauty Barrage/ BSG team, Kristy was the VP of Marketing for IlluMask, the LED light therapy device acquired by J&J in 2015 and now sold under the Neutrogena brand. In 2012 she won a WWD award for best launch at mass for Hair Rules, a hair care brand she helped to develop and launch. Before her foray into the CPG side of beauty she was an agent for hair stylists and makeup artists in NYC for over 10 years, which helped her to forge strong relationships with both artists and brands.
